I am a Ph.D. student in ECE at Princeton University, advised by Prof. Pramod Viswanath. I also work closely with Prof. Sewoong Oh and Prof. Hyeji Kim. I received an MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in August 2022. Previously, I received a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from NITK Surathkal. During my undergraduate years I have been fortunate to work with Prof. Shri Narayanan at USC, Prof. Deepu Vijayasenan at NITK, and Prof. Prasanta Kumar Ghosh at IISc.
My current research interests are in the application of machine learning for channel coding. I spent the summer of 2024 at Apple, where I worked with the cellular systems team to develop ML-guided PHY decoding schemes for 5G and post-5G deployments. I am also interested in blockchains and their applications. I led the development of SAKSHI - a platform to faciliate decentralized ML inference, and provides security and incentives via fraud proofs and decentralized transaction rails. I also TAed a course on Principles of Blockchains at Princeton (Fall '22, '23).
